Current Teaching Series

In our Bibles the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts are separated by the Gospel of John. Originally, however, they constituted one book in two volumes - what scholars refer to as "Luke-Acts" (see Luke 1:1-4 and Acts 1:1-3). In this two volume work, Luke narrates how God's eternal purpose, long promised in the Law and Prophets, to bless Israel together with all nations has now been inaugurated in Jesus' birth (Luke 1-2), life and death (Luke 3-24), and continues in the sending and empowering of the Apostles (Luke 24-Acts 2). And it continues through the growth and spread of the Church (Acts 2-28) ... even now.
